Memo from Jesus to the Body of Christ:

“Hello my friends this is Jesus,
May I talk with you a while,
My Father says your upset with me,
and you have lost your smile.

He told me you are mad at Joe
for asking you to help,
carry the books from the Library
“Can’t he do it himself?”

He also told me you are mad at Sally,
for the way she runs the choir.
“Does she not know that hymnals
are what God dost thou require?”

He also said you are upset with Sid
for the way he teaches his class.
You know he needs training,
but do not believe he would even pass.

There is also the case with Paul,
who you believe is a real waste,
of any time or effort
with all the struggles he has to face.

Oh, and I hear that Peter,
has you all in a real uproar.
I heard he stumbled and fell
and you are ready to show him the door.

And then there is Mary,
who you know will never last.
She wears her skirts to short,
and has quite the sordid past.

I believe I need to ask you to forgive me,
for you see I sent them there.
They needed a place to go
To find someone to care.

I thought I could send them to you,
And possibly in your midst,
They would feel My love and acceptance.
No matter what they did.

So please forgive these people for being there,
and maybe you will see in time.
They were only doing as I asked,
and so the blame is all Mine.”
